Brethren Boosters Community Scholarship Recipients

We are honored to award outstanding KND District applicants with a up to a $500 scholarship each. These students demonstrate the traits of amazing community members. We couldn’t be more proud of these Seniors and look forward to seeing all the greatness they add to the world.

2020: Eleni Guenther, Lauren Guenthardt, Rhiannon Gillis, and Summer Young

As a community support group, we are focused on giving back to our community and look forward to awarding KND high school seniors that demonstrate a focus on community support during their high school careers. Though academics, athleticism, and extra curriculars are taken into consideration, our primary goal is to award those that epitomize our values of community service.   1.  Must attend KND Schools or be a resident of Brethren
  2.  at least a 2.9 GPA
  3.  Submit a list of community service and essay about your contributions to your community

Community Support projects

  • Mentored Brethren Boosters Jr- a youth community service based group
  • Headphones for Special Education Classroom
  • Donations to Blessings in a Backpack
  • Mini- Fridge Donation to After-Prom
  • Holiday Events
  • Donation (monetary and time) to Robotics, Food Pantry, and Local Athletic Teams. Over $7,000 donated in 2019.
  • Community Improvements (Playground, Park, Gardens etc)
